Super Sounds

Stormy Wednesday
At school it was windy. The basketball hoops fell over. The rubbish bin rolled. It was funny.
At my house, across the road, a big branch was on the road. I had to go around. I couldn’t run because the wind was blowing too hard.

Using Computers
We are learning to write an argument that will persuade the reader to agree with our point of view. We need to include:
· An introduction which states the problem and tells our opinion,
· Reasons for our opinion,
· An ending which restates our opinion.
The first one we have written is about what needs to happen so we get a fair turn using the computer at home.
I think kids should have their own computers. I've never had a computer before but my mum has.They should start making little laptops and they should be cheap.

What Central Means to ME
I like the lime trees because in Autumn there are lots of leaves to make a fort. When I play tag, I can hide behind the lime trees. I want to play there every day.

The Legend of Willow Pattern Plate
Two Hundred years ago there lived a mandarin and his daughter, Koong-se. Someone called Chang fell in love with Koong-se.
The mandarin would not allow it. He ordered a duke to marry Koong-se. Mean while Chang escaped and the king was furious. Then he started chasing them with a whip. Chang had some money so they went to an island.
A long time later, the king found them and he put them to death. The Gods turned them into doves.
